What you should keep in mind before a Micropigmentation or Microblading
- If you have any procedure performed in the area to be treated, you must notify it for prior evaluation.
- Do not eat seafood 2 days before, as it can facilitate the appearance of skin reactions.
- Do not take alcohol or aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) 24 hours before. In general, do not take any vasodilators, since micro-bleeding could occur that would hinder the specialist's work.
- Do not drink any stimulant such as coffee, tea, Coca-Cola 24 hours before.
- It is not advisable to perform micropigmentation the day before menstruation, due to the sensitivity that the patient may have.
- It is advisable that you have eaten before the session.
- Not having tanned, nor having used tanning beds for at least 1 week before.
- In women with diabetes it can be performed as long as they are on medication and with the permission of their treating doctor.
- If you wear contact lenses, you must bring your case to remove them before the procedure.
Contraindications of the Micropigmentation or Microblading
- Cardiovascular conditions and heart problems.
- Pregnant women
- Epilepsy.
- Psoriasis and skin irritations.
- Skin cancer.
- Keloid scarring or healing problems
- Botox application less than 1 month.
- People undergoing chemotherapy processes (consult with a medical specialist in advance).
