What you should keep in mind before a Micropigmentation or Microblading


  1. If you have any procedure performed in the area to be treated, you must notify it for prior evaluation.
  2. Do not eat seafood 2 days before, as it can facilitate the appearance of skin reactions.
  3. Do not take alcohol or aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) 24 hours before. In general, do not take any vasodilators, since micro-bleeding could occur that would hinder the specialist's work.
  4. Do not drink any stimulant such as coffee, tea, Coca-Cola 24 hours before.
  5. It is not advisable to perform micropigmentation the day before menstruation, due to the sensitivity that the patient may have.
  6. It is advisable that you have eaten before the session.
  7. Not having tanned, nor having used tanning beds for at least 1 week before.
  8. In women with diabetes it can be performed as long as they are on medication and with the permission of their treating doctor.
  9. If you wear contact lenses, you must bring your case to remove them before the procedure.


Contraindications of the Micropigmentation or Microblading


  • Cardiovascular conditions and heart problems.
  • Pregnant women
  • Epilepsy.
  • Psoriasis and skin irritations.
  • Skin cancer.
  • Keloid scarring or healing problems
  • Botox application less than 1 month.
  • People undergoing chemotherapy processes (consult with a medical specialist in advance).
